SIGNAL SYNTH

SIGNAL SYNTH is a hybrid visual and musical instrument and installation piece. The device resembles a large keyboard synthesizer, with an ominous looking screen at it’s center. The device allows the participant to “tune” the sound it plays to the parameters of an image. It then creates very stable, incredibly detailed imagery through playing the keys, which also change the sound.

It is an audio visual synthesizer that creates real time, audible sound sculptures from the keys played.
